In the second quarter of 2026, the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development, through the AIPA agency, transferred more than 442 million lei to farmers. More than 2,200 applications were considered separately, under which more than 62 million lei was paid to farmers—constituting full reimbursement of the excise duty on 18,900 tonnes of diesel fuel used between March and May 2026.
