During the first six months of 2026, Tajikistan imported approximately 69.9 thousand tonnes of agrochemicals—35.9% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year, when purchases reached 105.9 thousand tonnes. The average customs value per tonne rose from $279 to $356. Domestic production remains limited: the Azot plant in Levakant produced approximately 5.1 thousand tonnes of urea during the half-year.
